CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

YOGA
Gentle - This slower paced practice is a restorative form of yoga recommended for beginners. Emphasis is on breath and covering basic principles of alignment. Establishes the foundation of yoga practice.

Wellness - Brings a healthy balance of the mind, body, & spirit that results in an overall feeling of mental and physical well-being. Some yoga experience is recommended, but can be modified to all fitness levels.

Power - Physically demanding class combines advanced level poses & flowing techniques to increase strength, flexibility & breath. You will expand on your strength, stamina, & flexibility as you learn advanced postures.

Open - Integrating the spirit of yoga together with non-traditional poses to create this multi-level class. All fitness levels are welcome.

Sunrise Yoga - Set your intentions for the day while increasing flexibility & saluting the sun.Open to all levels.

Awareness Yoga - These Kundalini classes incorporate specific methods of breath, stretching, movement, mantra, and meditation to advance the body, mind, and spirit. People of all age ages, body types, and levels.

Meditation - This class features extended meditations which will penetrate deeply rooted resistances in the mind and body, allowing shuniya (state of stillness) to blossom and our own innate grace, wisdom, and bliss to shine through. All levels of experience are welcome.

PILATES
Gentle Pilates - less vigorous than traditional Pilates, yet it is still challenging. Brings an aching body into better alignment while loosening joints, increasing coordination and balance. Can have a wonderful influence in the lives of mature adults.

Classic Pilates - Develops core-strength to maintain better posture, while dramatically transforming the way your body looks & feels. Build strength without excess bulk. Create a sleek, toned body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen.

Power Ball Pilates - Tone and strengthen the powerhouse muscles by combining the Pilates principles of core control and stabilization with the instability of the Power Ball.

Yogalates - A fusion of the ancient discipline of yoga with the modern techniques of Pilates. Develop core strength, help tone muscles, increase flexibility, and reduce stress.

Prenatal Pilates - Conducted in a calm, peaceful environment the class will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort.

ASIAN FUSION
Chi-Gong - "breath work" or "energy exercise" which focuses on removing the physical tension and misalignments within the body that leads to poor health and disease. Recommended for all age groups.

Tai Chi is a moving form of Chi Gong. Slow, relaxed movements incorporate breathing and relaxation techniques that cleanse our mind, body, and emotions of stress (or blocked energy). Gentle workout that leaves you energized!
